About

About TechShelf.

TechShelf helps tech professionals find the right books. We don't write fake reviews. We don't pretend to have read every book cover to cover.

Instead, we do the research. For every book we cover, we go through hundreds of reader reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, watch summary videos, read the author's interviews, and pull together the data into honest, structured guides.

The Curator Approach

We're curators, not reviewers. We aggregate what thousands of real readers say about a book, identify the consistent themes (what people love, what they criticize), and present it in a format that helps you make a decision.

Every recommendation comes with ratings from real readers, clear "read this if / skip this if" sections, and alternatives. No book is perfect for everyone.

Who Runs This

TechShelf is built and curated by Ashish Sheth, a software engineer with 24 years of experience building production systems. Ashish is currently building VapuAI, an AI-powered image transformation SaaS.

The goal is simple: build the resource I wish existed when I was trying to figure out which tech books were actually worth my time and money. Every guide is data-driven. Every recommendation is backed by aggregated reader reviews, not affiliate commissions.
